RELIGIOUS SCHOOLShalom parents, We are excited to start our new virtual Religious school classes this Sunday, August 30th! We look forward to seeing all our student’s smiling faces. Even though this will be a new normal for the time being we will be experimenting together, learning and putting into action our Jewish traditions, values and morals! I will be sending you the lessons and Zoom meeting links each week prior to scheduled Sunday class in order for the students to be prepared for their lessons. Thank you in advance parents! Everyone please stay safe and be well. Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur “Oneg to go” boxes: We are celebrating the high holidays via Zoom, but that does not mean we cannot enjoy a tasty Oneg! Thank you to Sal Loeb and Leslie Green for leading the effort to put take-home boxes of food goodies together to help us celebrate and share wonderful Jewish foods as we look forward to a New Year. The Oneg boxes are FREE for everyone. We simply need a count so we can prepare, so please respond here to let us know how many boxes you would like for each holiday. Special arrangements will be made for those who need box delivery. Let us know if you would like one or more boxes for each holiday by taking the survey, or calling Debbie at CBI: 361-857-8181 A Conversation with Joe GazinSeptember 13,2020 @ 7:30pm via ZOOM Join us for a conversation with our congregant, Joe Gazin, as he shares his fascinating life story and experience in the new business.
