What's Going On - April 2016 PDF Print E-mail

March was lots of fun as we celebrated Purim during Religious School. Our ISJL fellow, Bethany Berger, came and helped us to celebrate with lots of fun activities. The kids wore costumes and really embraced the fun & theatre of the holiday. We will be continuing on with the fun as we celebrate Passover with a chocolate Seder on April 24th during Sunday School.

Please remember that if you are interested in a camp scholarship for this summer, you will need to register for the camp and then submit an application to Debbie at CBI. In order for CBI to provide a scholarship, they need to have documentation that your child is registered for the camp. Any scholarship funds awarded will be paid directly to the camp from CBI.

 Thank you,
 Meredith Ryan

Shalom Y'All,

It's always a joy to celebrate a happy holiday and Purim was no exception!  Delicious food, fun costumes, an adorable play by the kiddos, and yummy hamantashen made the celebration complete!  A very special thanks to Eva Brown and Manor Gury for lending a helping hand in the kitchen last month.

Mark your calendars that our next Family Shabbat Dinner will be on Friday, April 8th at 6:00 pm with dinner to follow.

If you haven't already made your reservations for 2nd night Passover Community Sedar at CBI, it's not too late!  You can call Debbie Bustillo at CBI for a reservation form or you can find one in your CBI newsletter.  Second sedar will be on Saturday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m.

On behalf of myself, Eli and Nolan, we want to wish you all a zeisen Pesach (sweet Passover) and can't wait to break matzoh together!!
